Available in two beautiful colours; Natural and Coffee, Plantation Compressed Bamboo Flooring is colour-consistent to the core. We do not use stains or dyes, adding to the longevity of our flooring.
Top performing
During manufacture, the bamboo is stripped and then compressed at an extremely high temperature, resulting in a harder, denser, more stable floor. A quality control check is completed after every step in the production chain, ensuring a top performing product.
Plantation Bamboo Flooring is pre-finished with nine layers of a stunning, high performing German polyurethane, Treffert. Added to the finish is an aluminum oxide wear layer that boosts abrasion and prevents scratches. There is no unnecessary mess, nor dangerous fumes normally associated with onsite sanding and polishing.
Plantation recommends floating our compressed bamboo flooring over a waterproof membrane such as Roberts Harmony 3 in 1 Underlay, which is a 100% barrier to any moisture that may be in the subfloor.
Easy installation
Plantation uses a locking installation system that is tighter than any other system on the market for simple, floating floor installation. Recognised globally as the leader in locking flooring systems, no other click-lock system can match it's durability, simplicity and efficiency.
Made for New Zealand climate conditions
A wax coating on the Uniclic joint prevents squeaks and helps make the floor more water resistant.
Plantation Compressed Bamboo is manufactured with 10-12% moisture content to suit New Zealand climate conditions. Allowance for slight expansion and contraction must be made.
